Specific Objectives	:		By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
		1.	Choose 8 correct facts about the passage they read.
		2.	Rearrange the sentences given in the correct order  and write them in a paragraph.

Set induction		1.	Teacher greets pupils, and request pupils to sit down quietly.
		2	Pupils are to sit in pairs.
		3	Teacher informs pupils to pay attention to the performances in the video.
		4.	Teacher plays the video.
		5.	Teacher elicits information from the students.	Have you seen the dances before? Would you like to know more about the people over there in Sarawak?
Pre-reading		1.	Teacher plays the video.	Refer to Appendix 1 for pictures example Stroll: walk slowly. admire: look at something with appreciation, sculptures: an art in 3D form (use picture as example), Fountains: ground water. Ceramics: a hard material produced from non metallic material by firing at high temperature. (show example) designated: made for crockery: tableware Reconstruction: rebuilding. nestled: living close together haunt: frequent visit Heritage: tradition, some practice handed down from the past. portrays: shows, amidst: in the middle of conveniently: easily vegetations: fauna, plant life in the area.
	:	2.	Teacher elicits information from the students.
While reading (  30 minutes)		1.	Teacher shows a travel brochure to the pupils.	Travel brochure, worksheet 1 (checklist)
		2.	Teacher reminds pupils to take good care of the travel brochure, as they are very useful for tourists.
		3.	Teacher distributes travel brochure and checklist.	2 pupils share a travel brochure, but each pupil will have a checklist.
		4.	Teacher’s instructions: a.       You now have a travel brochure and a checklist in your hands. b.      You will share this brochure with your friend next to you. c.       As you read the brochure together, try to complete the checklist by yourself. d.      Now, let’s read the instructions on the checklist.	Instruction on the checklist: True or False: Read the statements below carefully, circle the correct answer for each statement.
		5	Pupils read silently on the travel brochure.
		6.	Pupils try to complete the checklist by circling the answers.
		7	Pupils compare answers among themselves.
		8.	Class discussion.
Post reading (  10 minutes)	:	1.	Teacher asks pupils to sequence the sentences given by numbering them. (Worksheet 2)	To help pupils remember what they have learnt individually created in their minds from the text Worksheet 2
		2.	Teacher asks the pupils to write out the sentences that they sequenced in a paragraph.	.
		3.	Teacher checks the answer with the pupils by asking one of the pupils to read out his / her answer.
Closure		1	Teacher reminds the pupils that we should be proud of our heritage.	Be proud of being a Malaysian. Should work together for a better future.
